We believe in the power of storytelling through the arts. Movies are a powerful medium that can change us individually as well as communally. This change best happens through interactions and discussions with one another.

Every Javaflix meeting will feature at least 45 minutes of talking about the film. How many times do you watch a movie and then move on to your next task? That shouldn't happen! At Javaflix, we create space to process what we just watched together. As we talk about these movies, not only do we grow as people but we really get to know one another. Because the movies we watch bring up many important issues, our discussions are deep and revealing yet safe, creating opportunities for us to get to know each other quickly.
